- Day 1
- Asked myself, "What's the Twist?" Because "Classic Halo Gameplay wrapped in a Vaporwave Athetotic with Anime Girls is ok. That's not really a "Twist." I'll be trying to figure that out today as well as work on the Main Menu.

- Main Menu Topic
- Made a checkerboard texture and found a "moving texture shader" on YouTube here. Script in their Github witch is linked in the Description of that video.
- Figure it'd be kinda funny to have your character be the statue bust in the main menu. Not sure how that will work out yet but for now. bean.
- Thinking of going the route of the "Old DVD Main Menu" vibe.
- Thinking more specifically old "home movie" DVD menus

- Main Menu is useable now. Able to go from MM to tg_gameplay
- Twist Topic
- Every time I look into the player script I have to hold back the urge to rip it apart and start from scratch. Not fond of how that script is + the weapon script.

- Think I'll make a console. Idk if today, probably should be focusing back on gameplay instead of getting side tracked
- 1: Because I'd want people to be able to fuck around with it / take a look at dev levels whenever you all get your hands on it.
- Always liked the "behind the scenes" of games and figure I'd let it stay so people could take a look at it themselves ya know?

- Reorganized the File Structure and fixed what broke during that
- Also yeeted the weapon script. The way I had it done was causing more problems than what it was worth.
- Gonna go with Chaff Game's Weapon Scripts
- Using HL-1 Sounds for placeholder Sound FX.
- will need to learn how Godot uses sounds because they aren't working like they should (or could be a problem with the branch I'm using?)
- Started work with some map designs as well as updating the "tg_artstyle" map.

- Day 4
- not much to say but after playing a few Free to Play Shooters to see what's out there again... I have this morbid thought stuck in my head...
- "Some games are so bad Gacha games treat you better then them....wait... What would a FPS Gacha game... even look like?"
- If I am to go down this route, playing casually will let you snag everything. Maybe a bonus cosmetic or Icon to signal you grinded it out rather than paying for it?
- This changes everything if I'm to go down this route. Perhaps returning to the idea of a "classic halo" gameplay as an event while stock is more of a classic cod but with preset loadouts per character?
- Probably should nock it off for now. Get something going, then think about where to take it another time

- Day 5
- Fix a couple issues (the shader for the main menu randomly lost it's script. :|
- Cleaned up / Made Comments clearer so that when I'm sharing a script with friends it's easier getting help with debugging.
- set up a temporary "game master" in the global script kinda pointless since it's just ffa death match for now and probably have a gm global script of it's own by the end of it.
- Got back to working on the weapon script, though seems like I stonewalled with a error. Considering how late it is when I started (and typing this now) I think I'll get back to it tomorrow.
- Having the same vibe as I am with the Player script. "This should be better but I don't know exactly How I need to make it better."
- Day 6
- Yeah the more I look at the scripts the more I wanna compact things down into smaller sizes and optimize it.
- And also reconfigure the file structure... again...
- With that, I've reorganized and yeeted the scripts for the most part. Not entirely from scratch but i do not like how the scripts were being handled.

- Day 7
- Spent most of the day on the D.D. laying out the options I'd want to see in custom games.
- Made a new main menu since the nuking. Added something small in the bg to make it a bit more dynamic.
- If you're wondering, Yes the planet and rings spin as well.
- Will need to set up a Profile System, so when you click on the player bust, you can attach a profile to that player.
